About Picnic Heist!
Picnic Heist! is a free ant colony game for your browser and phone. A family is having a lovely picnic, and your colony of tiny masked robber ants wants every crumb of it. Drag a pheromone trail from the anthill to a snack (or just tap the snack) and your ants march out along it. Small snacks need one or two ants, but a sandwich needs 12 and the birthday cake 22, so the colony has to team up. Every snack you bring home hatches new ants, and your colony grows bigger and bolder.
The catch: the family is right there. Every now and then someone stops chatting and glances at the blanket. A sandwich that walks away by itself is very suspicious, so hold FREEZE and the whole colony plays statue until they look away. Get caught three times and the picnic is over. On top of that, a little kid stomps around in sneakers, a greedy seagull, Biscuit the dog and a masked raccoon try to steal the snacks first, waves wash over the beach towel and a lawn sprinkler soaks your ants. 12 picnics take you from a sunny park to the beach, a backyard BBQ and a moonlit campsite.
