About Shine Ahoy!
Shine Ahoy! is a free lighthouse game for your browser and phone. It is night, and little boats with big googly eyes are lost at sea. Boats in the dark drift and wander, but every boat inside your pool of light turns and sails toward it. Move the light with your mouse or finger and the fleet follows, so the whole game is about leading boats safely into the harbour at the bottom of the bay before the sun comes up.
Every boat has its own personality: nimble rowboats, faithful trawlers, fast sailboats that swing wide on the turns, a tough tugboat that shrugs off one bump, a slow ferry full of sleepy passengers, grandpa snoring in his bathtub and a giant rubber duck. In the light the crews can see the rocks and try to swerve; in the dark they can't see a thing. The fog horn stops every boat that can't see your light, sends the kraken diving and scatters pirates. 16 nights across a cosy fishing cove, a frosty fjord with fog banks and drifting icebergs, a glowing reef with whirlpools and a kraken that loves the light, and a stormy strait with lightning, currents and pirates who hate it.
