About Plip Plop!
Plip Plop! is a free stone skipping game for your browser and phone. Swipe up to throw a flat stone across a real-looking lake: how fast you swipe sets the power, the direction sets the aim and a curved swipe bends the throw. Then the game turns into a rhythm game. A ring on the water shrinks to the exact spot where the stone will land, the action slows down for the first hops, and every tap right at the touchdown is a Perfect skip that keeps the stone flying further. Each skip plays a higher note, the hops speed up like a bouncing ball, and the tiny last hops skitter on their own before the final plunk.
The 12 levels take you to four lakes built from real panoramic photos: a sunny pebble beach with crystal-clear water, a mirror-still morning lake with a wooden dock, a harbour at sunset with a golden glitter path, gentle swells and a sea breeze, and a starlit lake where lanterns float and the ripples glow. Land in floating rings, ring bell buoys, bonk a parade of rubber ducks, bounce off lily pads (the frogs leap away), skip between old pier posts, hop over floating logs and follow the moonlight to the far glowing ring. Then relax in Zen mode or build your own course and share it with a code.
