Sunny Town: Cozy Life Guide – Best Crops, Fishing, Pets and Making Friends
Sunny Town: Cozy Life is a free 3D life simulation game that runs in your browser. You explore a seaside town, a beach and Grandma’s farm. You work fun jobs, dress up, adopt a pet and make friends. There is no wrong way to play, but if you want to earn coins faster, grow the best crops and fill every friendship heart, this guide has the numbers.
Getting started
- Mayor Momo greets you in the plaza with a to-do list. Following it teaches every feature and pays rewards along the way.
- A full in-game day lasts 12 real minutes, with a sunset and glowing street lamps at night.
- You level up by earning XP from jobs, farming, fishing and friends, up to level 50. Some places and items unlock at certain levels. Grandma’s farm opens at level 3.
- Open the Daily menu every day. The 7-day cycle gives 100, 150 and 300 coins, 3 gems, a seed pack, 500 coins, then 10 gems and a gift on day 7. The Lucky Spin can give coins, gems, seed packs or a mystery outfit.

Each one pays coins and XP. Do the ones you enjoy most: getting better at a mini-game raises your score, and a higher score pays more. Tip from Sam the mail carrier: a ride makes deliveries much faster.
Farming: the best crops
You start with 6 plots and can buy up to 18. Each new plot costs more than the last (250 coins for the 7th, 500 for the 8th, and so on). Crops grow in real time, even when the game is closed, and watering cuts the growing time by 25%.

How to farm well:
- While you’re playing, plant Carrots and water them. They’re ready in 1.5 minutes and earn the most per hour by far.
- Before you log off, plant Pumpkins or Sunflowers. They keep growing while you’re away, and you come back to a big harvest.
- Spend early coins on extra plots. More plots multiply every harvest.
Fishing
Fish at the pier (sea fish) or at Grandma’s pond (freshwater fish). Rarer fish are worth much more:

Buy the Skateboard early. It is cheap, and getting around faster makes everything else faster. Press R to hop on.
Making friends
Each of the 9 friends has 5 hearts, and each heart takes 20 friendship points. Every day you can:
- Talk to each friend: +8 points.
- Give one gift: +30 points for their favourite, +22 for a Teddy Bear, +14 for other snacks, +8 for a crop, and 6 to 24 for a fish (rarer fish count for more).
- Help with a request: +18 points and 90 coins.
- Hang out once a friend has 3 hearts: +22 points, 40 XP and 60 coins.

Cookies cost only 30 coins and three friends love them. That makes them the cheapest way to fill hearts. Grandma also has a gift for you every day.
